On

"The time is zero seven hundred hours, please wake up." A monotone voice spoke softly trough the internal audio system of the room and activated the lights which became dimly eluminated as not to blind the room's occupant.

A small person laying in a regular sized bed stirred, ears twitched and rolled over to face the lightly grey tinted ceiling, two furred paws revealed themselves from under the coverings and reached for the ceiling, her back arched upwards and a soft sigh left her mouth as she stretched signaling to her body that it was time to wake up.

Letting her arms fall down towards the blanket and pushed it aside then threw her legs over the edge of the bed she had slept in. M'rissa looked around the room that she had been given. It was spacious, had its own bathroom, a large desk, a walk-in closet for all of the non-existent clothing she had brought with her. Shaking her head to get rid of the grogginess, still it was hard to believe.

M'rissa, ran a paw down her face and scratched herself behind the ear, not wanting to look a gift horse in the mouth. It was certainly an improvement compared to the place where she had to share a room with 4 others. Here in this dwelling onboard the largest structure she had ever been on, could have this small part of the kingdom to herself should this become her permanent place of residence. Though these two humans we're caring and strangely cute in their own way, Suzie & John did seem to be the types of people that were true to their word. However that the fact of the matter was there was still the reality of the people above them who could throw soot onto the meal for her.

But until that day arrived again M'rissa just went with it and tried to go about her life the way she always did since her mother had vanished and the system could not find her father or didn't want to be found. It wasn't something she thought of all too often but occasionally the thought had found it's way to the surface.

She stood up from the bed and stretched again, this time standing on her toes and felt the energy rush through her muscles all the way to the tip of her tail and digets. Before shuffling to her bathroom to brush her teeth, wash her face. In the mirror, M'rissa couldn't help but glance at the little pip that was attached to her neck. It was an implant that the girl had been given so she was able to use her voice instead of having to resort to using her gestures. Also a quick deliberation on taking a sonic shower crossed her mind but decided against it, combed her hair and exchanged her pajamas for the usual clothing that she wore each day.
