| General Overview | Born with a happy disposition, Arianna changed when it was realised that he mother wasn't coming back and there had been no word for 15yrs of the fate of her mysterious Bajoran father either. She cares deeply, can be emotional but is well practised at hiding this. She retains her childlike sense of fun somewhere underneath her established social ‘defence shields’ but she is slow to trust. |

| Strengths & Weaknesses | Strengths: Arianna is resilient as she has faced many ups and downs, even in her early life and her sense of humour has kept her defended and out of despair all along. She is physically strong having been sporty as a child and learning to keep her body well looked after. She is making a courageous come back, inspired by her extraordinary Grandmother who has shown her that there is always hope, even in the darkest seeming hours of your life. Weaknesses: Broken by the loss of her beloved husband and daughter, Arianna is naturally too emotional these days but she had enough medical training beforehand to have some ingrained defences that stop her face showing emotions or giving away anything she should not as a doctor, reveal. She has needed this ‘Doctors’ mask’ to keep her head above water sometimes. |

| Ambitions | Arianna would dearly love to find her father but knows too little about him to hope that she actually will. She has made Starfleet her life, having no other ties left. After finding her universe shattered by becoming widowed and losing a child, nowadays, Arianna is just focussing on getting back to full health physically and mentally. |

History
| Personal History | Having been brought up on Earth for the years she can remember, Arianna knows a lot about her Terran heritage but little about her Bajoran side or culture. Her life seems to be dogged by unanswered questions and mysteries and since her Grandmother became elderly and forgetful, Arianna made several pilgrimages to Bajor, including some time studying and on secondment, on two different occasions at the Ilivian Medical Complex. It was there that she met the love of her life, Taynor-Benj, a full Bajoran with a wicked sense of humour and a wonderfully kind, caring, brave and inspiring character, not to mention hot looks as well! They married and had a little girl who was two when, whilst Arianna was on Earth, the Bajoran Community they lived in were attacked and no prisoners were taken. Arianna and Benj’s daughter, Benna was obliterated in the bombing and Benj was killed trying to protect her. Arianna’s universe was smashed and she has spend the past five years haunted by the memories of those she has lost but after so long, she is finding her career and caring for patients can be a balm and so leans heavily on these to keep her sense of desperation and grief at bay. She is better now at going on living and hopefully, one day, perhaps could find more reasons to lean on as well. She doesn't anticipate ever falling in love again but neither does she want to remain alone for the rest of her life. She has to wait for time to tell what fate awaits her from now on. |
Service Record
| Service Record | Arianna enrolled at the Starfleet Academy when she was 18. She then spent 2years specialising after Graduation, working at the Zephram Cochran Medical Institute of Studies, doing a medical course and again passing with very good grades aged 22. She was assigned a junior medical officer position and worked aboard the USS Illustrious. This ship was refitted and renamed the USS Nimitz, where Arianna was promoted to Lt. (jg) Arianna met and married her Bajoran Husband on one of her visits to Bajor, searching for her roots and her father but not necessarily in that order. Sadly, Taynor, Benj was killed about 5 yrs ago, along with the couple’s daughter Taynor, Benna. Arianna took some sick leave and returned to Earth again, getting involved with her Grandmother’s ailing health and care and dealing with her own grief and shattered life. A couple of years after this, when her Grandmother was stabilised and in the best possible care, Arianna decided to pick up on her career again and it did give her support and relief to be caring for patients and helping sick people to recover. Now Arianna’s grandmother has remarried her favourite male nurse and is showing signs of rejuvenation that had seemed totally impossible a couple of years ago, this miracle recovery has given Arianna her own boost and pick-up so she has decided to apply for the vacancy on the Langley Station for an ACMO position and to rejoin her own career where she left it off. |
